Langkawi is like a second hometown for me as I do have lots of family members staying on the island. So, whenever I had the opportunity to be in Langkawi, I won’t miss the chance of doing some angling. Lucky for me even, one of my uncle is a local fisherman that do encourage me a lot to go fishing with him.

Usually, my fishing trip with my uncle last for 3 to 4 days. Its depend on the catch and weather. We will sleep, eat and rest inside his boat. He is very good in finding fishing ground which usually he kept as a secret from other fishermen. At most of his fishing spots, we can catch lots of snappers, groupers, rays and coral fishes.

I am planning to visit Langkawi again somewhere in May or June this year and angling with my uncle is surely a major activity that I will do.
